Imperial Stout aged 1 Year in Sazerac Rye Whiskey Barrels.
Aromas of coffee, fig, and lots of vanillin oak. Flavors of dark fruit compote, chocolate, and custardy, creamy vanilla character from the barrel on the palate. Smooth, silky mouthfeel enhanced by low carbonation. Brewed with a complex mash bill including a variety of roasted barleys and caramel malts, with a base of English Pale. Fermented with English ale yeast.
